Overview of Services

The Pathology Shared Resources offers a range of instrument services to Pathology faculty and staff, supporting both clinical and basic research projects. The core management team provides hands-on assistance, training for independent instrument use, and personalized consultation to support specific research goals. Closely aligned with the Center for Translational Pathology within the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, the Shared Resource fosters collaborations that drive innovative translational research.

Schedule Resource

Training and Assisted Equipment Use are available M-F, 9am-5pm only, by appointment and require core approval on the schedule.

  • Training is required for all equipment prior to independent use.
  • Request Equipment Training on the Schedule Equipment tab.
  • Request Assisted Equipment Use on the Schedule Equipment tab.
  • Customers are only allowed to schedule 2 hours per day on Flow Cytometer during peak hours (9am - 5pm), to allow everyone access.

The Center for Translational Pathology at Weill Cornell Medicine provides advanced services to support research across pathology and laboratory medicine. Key offerings include histology, immunohistochemistry, and imaging via the Pathology Core Laboratory; support for cell-based therapies in the Experimental Cellular Therapy Lab; high-resolution tissue analysis in the Multiparametric In Situ Imaging Lab; and data-driven research through Computational Pathology. The center also offers access to biospecimens and molecular analysis tools, supporting both basic and clinical research efforts.
