Clinical Translational Core Lab (CTCL)

Overview of Services

The Clinical Translational Core Lab serves the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology within the department of Medicine and the Joint Clinical Trials Office (JCTO).  CTCL supports both investigator-initiated and sponsor-initiated clinical trials by providing human blood and tissue sample processing associated with clinical trial correlative studies. Specifically, our core isolates plasma, serum, PBMCs, or other specific blood cell types that can be used for downstream applications such as genomic studies, flow cytometry, ELISAs, or other techniques. CTCL can also assist with developing, planning, and budgeting study specific assays for correlative studies.
